I am being more and more being drawn to all the amazing public spaces Canberra has to photograph in. Firstly, photography is all about light over location. Time of day and weather will determine so much about what makes a good location. Using a combination of the great Canberra architecture and wonderful greenery of the Australian landscape, you can get some really dynamic poses and compositions for portraits.
I’m so glad Abby and David were up for exploring the possibilities as we headed to the National Portrait Gallery. and explored the area to find some good light. The High Court is just an amazing backdrop to pop out from the background.
